Score Mate Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Lumate ("we", "us", or "our") operates Score Mate. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use Score Mate. By using the app, you agree to this policy.

2. Data We Collect

When you use Score Mate, we may collect:

• No account required for basic scoring
• Match history stored locally on your device
• Health data (heart rate, calories) from Apple Watch / Wear OS — only with your explicit permission
• Device identifiers for app analytics (anonymised)

3. How We Use Your Data

Match data is stored locally and used to display your history and stats. Health data is only accessed with your explicit health-platform permission and is never transmitted to our servers.

We also use aggregated, anonymised data to understand how the app is used and to improve future features.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (managed PostgreSQL). We apply industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We do not sell your data to third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — secure data storage and authentication
• Vercel — web hosting and deployment
• Google Play Services — app distribution and in-app features on Android

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as you have an active account or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

7. Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and GDPR (if applicable), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Data portability

8. Children's Privacy

Score Mate is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, contact us immediately.
