Lumate ("we", "us", or "our") operates Desk Mate. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use Desk Mate. By using the app, you agree to this policy.

When you use Desk Mate, we may collect:

• Account information (email) when you register
• Timer and break preferences
• Stretch completion history
• Team sharing statistics (if enabled)
• Notification preferences

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide scheduled stretch reminders, track your daily wellness progress, and (optionally) share anonymised stats with your team.

We also use aggregated, anonymised data to understand how the app is used and to improve future features.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (managed PostgreSQL). We apply industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We do not sell your data to third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — secure data storage and authentication
• Vercel — web hosting and deployment
• Google Play Services — app distribution and in-app features on Android

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as you have an active account or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and GDPR (if applicable), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
